Overview
TradeDay is a futures prop firm based in Chicago (Tradeday LLC), operating since 2020. It offers two paths to a funded account, Quick Pay and Fast Pass, each with a choice of intraday or end-of-day (EOD) drawdown.
Quick Pay trades a longer evaluation for easier funded-account rules: TradeDay lists no consistency rule and no buffer once funded, with payouts available after one day. Fast Pass can be passed faster but keeps more conditions in the funded stage.
TradeDay supports Tradovate, NinjaTrader and Rithmic connections. Its homepage lists up to 10 accounts and no activation fee.
How the evaluation works
- Pick a path and drawdownQuick Pay or Fast Pass, then intraday or EOD drawdown and an account size.
- Pass the evaluationQuick Pay needs at least 5 days with a 30% consistency rule; Fast Pass at least 3 days with a 45% consistency rule.
- Get fundedTrade the funded account under the path's rules.
- Request payoutsQuick Pay: from one day in, minimum request $250. Fast Pass: after five profitable days, with a per-cycle maximum.
Rules in plain English
Quick Pay funded stage
TradeDay lists no consistency rule and no buffer once funded, a one-day minimum before payout and a $250 minimum request. The split is 50/50 until you reach $4,000 in net profit, then 80/20, and 90/10 on a Funded Live account.
Fast Pass funded stage
Payouts require five profitable days and are subject to a per-cycle maximum. TradeDay lists an 80/20 split in simulated funded accounts and 90/10 on Funded Live.
Evaluation consistency
Quick Pay evaluations use a 30% consistency rule and Fast Pass evaluations a 45% rule, so your best day can't make up more than that share of total profit when you pass.
- Quick Pay's 50/50 split applies until $4,000 in net profit, so early payouts keep less than the headline 80% or 90%.
