How the total is calculated
Total = first evaluation + retries + subscription months + other monthly fees + activation fee.
- First evaluation: the one-time evaluation fee, less your discount.
- Retries: (attempts − 1) × the reset fee, or × the discounted evaluation fee if you buy a new evaluation instead. If you enter a pass rate, attempts = 100 ÷ pass rate (the average number of tries at that rate), so the result can include a fraction of an attempt.
- Subscription: monthly price × months, discounted only if you tick the box. Firms differ on whether a code applies to renewals.
- Activation: charged once, when you pass.
Presets use list prices from each firm's own page, checked Oct 25, 2026, with no promotional discounts. Apex isn't a preset because it shows prices only in its checkout configurator. The calculator doesn't include refunds (FTMO refunds the fee with your first reward), taxes, platform licences you already pay for, or payout-processing fees.
Privacy: the calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you type is stored, sent or tracked.

Quick answers
What does it really cost to get funded at a prop firm?
The evaluation price plus every retry (resets or new evaluations), any monthly subscription for as long as you're paying, and any activation fee when you pass. This calculator adds those up from the firm's list prices or your own numbers.
Is a monthly or one-time evaluation cheaper?
It depends on how long you take. A monthly plan costs more every month you don't pass; a one-time plan doesn't, but each failed attempt costs a reset or a new purchase. Enter both in the calculator to compare.
Does the calculator store my numbers?
No. It runs entirely in your browser and doesn't send, save or track anything you enter.
Preset sources
Pages we used, checked Oct 25, 2026: the firm's official pages first, plus any named third-party source. If anything here disagrees with the firm's current page, the firm's page wins.
