Overview
Alpha Futures is the futures arm of Alpha Group (which also runs the forex firm Alpha Capital). It sells paid simulated evaluations; passing gives you a simulated Qualified Account where you can request performance fees, which is Alpha's word for payouts.
There are four plans: Zero, Standard and Advanced are one-step evaluations, while Direct starts you on a Qualified Account with no evaluation. All plans use an end-of-day trailing Maximum Loss Limit (MLL).
Alpha supports AlphaTrader (its own platform), TradingView through Plus500 connectivity, WealthCharts, Quantower and DeepChart.
How the evaluation works
- Choose a planZero, Standard or Advanced evaluation, or Direct to skip the evaluation.
- Pass one stepMeet the profit target and follow the plan's loss and consistency rules.
- Qualified AccountTrade the simulated Qualified Account under its own consistency and news rules.
- Performance feesRequest after five winning days of at least $200 each (Zero, Standard, Advanced), up to four times a month.
Rules in plain English
EOD trailing MLL
The limit follows your highest end-of-day balance, not intraday spikes, and stops trailing once it reaches the starting balance. Equity can still breach the active limit during a session.
Consistency changes by stage
Evaluations: Zero has none, Standard uses 50%, Advanced 40%. Qualified Accounts: Zero and Standard use 40%, Direct 20%, Advanced has none.
Daily Loss Guard
Zero evaluations list a Daily Loss Guard (for example $1,000 on 50K Zero). Advanced has no Daily Loss Guard.
Payout conditions
Zero, Standard and Advanced Qualified Traders need five winning days of at least $200 each before requesting, up to four times a month. Direct uses withdrawal profit targets plus 20% consistency instead. Each plan has its own payout cap.
News trading
No news restrictions on evaluations or Advanced Qualified Accounts. On Zero, Standard and Direct Qualified Accounts, no orders within two minutes before or after relevant high-impact news; existing positions can be held through it.
MLL after withdrawal
Alpha says your Maximum Loss Limit stays where it was when you withdraw, rather than resetting your buffer.
- Alpha lists most evaluation prices per month on its homepage. Check whether your plan renews before buying.
- Rules differ between the evaluation and the Qualified Account on the same plan. Read both columns.
